Spotted a brown turbo calais at a servo in casula getting E85, told me it had 415kw, plates BQ04DH

Saw 2 x VL's on Sunday morn at Terrey Hills
Navy Blue CALAIS
Ice-Sky Blue (Not 100% of colour name) lol With Big front Mount Intercooler
Both very nice

isn't that jet-hdt in the pic... Jet30L is on another silver sport that last time I saw was at maatouks like a year ago maybe more lol had no engine, I also heard someone is selling a silver sport but not advertised yet in that area.. chasin 30k..

JET30L is a number plate I haven't seen in many many years

I remember the first time I saw that car it was crossed up all over King Georges Road on an ANZAC day cruise. I would have loved to have bought that car but he didn't like my offer. Seemed like one hell of a car back in the day.

The original JET30L was the most epic car 15-18 years ago.

Haven't lived in syd for a while but last time I was down I noticed generally the vlt's that are around are very clean.

I did happen to see a green p plater girl in a n/a berlina with my old number plates.. Lol.

Don't worry, just found the page on the RTA site. So many of my old cars appear to be gone

I had a look last night at a lot of the big name VL's back in the day. Most expired years ago or the plates have been transferred to non VL's.

It appears that when a plate gets swapped for another, that plate doesn't show up in the system. Only plates that have actually expired on vehicles do. I tried searching for my old personalised plates which I handed back and replaced with standard plates, but it comes up with "not found". Also doesn't work on plates that are in storage.

Would be cool to put it back on another VL if I end up buying one.

That just might mean that the plate was changed yet again?

Nah, was referring to the original plate. If it had been handed in voluntarily before rego expiry, it won't come up.

Unfortunately i can't The last registered owner hasn't handed the plates in so MyPlates won't re issue them which sucks

I do have a few up my sleeve that may be appropriate that are still available though. IDO09S is in storage and i will never let that plate go, had it for 15 plus years now

Spotted NSW rego - White VL V8 Berlina driving in SA.
10.45am on Wednesday 5th December 2018 Main South Rd, Edwardstown SA - Spotted White VL V8 Berlina sedan with NSW rego QBU600, bull bar, rear window sun shade louvre, Walkinshaw wheels, pale blue Limited Edition pinstripes along the side mouldings with all mouldings and bumper bars painted Calais silver, LPgas. I spoke to the owner at a nearby petrol station and he was travelling with his wife to various areas in Australia from state to state. He said the car has been in the family for about 28yrs and came from the factory with the Walky wheels as a limited run special edition Berlina.

Its been a long time since I replied to this post but you wouldn't believe what has happened since I did

I now have my old plates back

Now to get rid of these Mazda's I own and get myself another VL
