And If you ever get the opurtunity to get into a VE clubsport you wont be disapointed at all, They are amazing, the power is incrediable and the brakes :O they can stop from 100km/h in 35 metres

And now that there is a few VE's around they actually dont look that bad they grow on you I reckon

Looks ok! Was going to buy one!

Although I think I'm gona buy a F6. Love my turbo's too and this car is surprisingly a great package. FPV have certainly created a nice car to drive and I'd never thought I'd be thinking this way either.

dont mean to sound negative but i think the 'new walky' looks a bit average.
OK it looks like dogsnuts!

i think you would be happier shelling out the clams for the original.

no ABS, no airbags, no driver assist, no traction control, no reverse proximity sensors....... YOU have to actually drive it and feel what the cars doing.
Like The Ferrari F-40. Zero electronic intervention.

You cant beat the rawness of the beast and actually having to drive it!

AMEN to that!!

Saw one of these today parked out the front of Walkinshaw's latest business. Wouldn't surprise me if itwas his personal car even.

Something to do with the you beaut magnetic suspension that they have. A guy from work said you can't lower and the price.
Another guy from work said about the magnetic suspension but I think he was talking about the GTS in regards. He used to work at Holden.
Was explaining about the metal particles in the fluid and the electro magnetic force(or some sh1t) wold help thicken the oil and thin it according to the current situation. You can also choose a comfy/sports setting(GTS etc only)
Apparently only 3 road cars in the world have this style of suspension.
Get more info 2morrow

Magnetic Ride Control only comes in Senator and GTS. But there is nothing stopping you ripping it out and putting in a Koni/King setup

Personally I think the Senator is way to soft even on the hard setting. If I bought one I would put Koni coilovers in it and set it up a good 60-80mm lower. But thats just me, most old men who buy them would like the soft ride

that VE looks nothing like a batmobile.

thats what makes the original walky so unique, its so "out there" design/shape of the kit for the vintage it came from.

VE with a fucked bonnet scoop.. wow?

Also, about the VE's not being able to be lowered, has anyone actually been on the Walkinshaw site?

Direct quote:
"Walkinshaw Performance Lowered Suspension

Suspension lowering kit reduces the ride height by 25mm over the standard HSV height (15mm on MRC model) giving the vehicle a more aggressive stance whilst still keeping the sports and comfort in the ride quality. $590 (Incl GST)"
