gas research on later model cars

just curious at what point gas research becomes less police friendly in later model cars...
ie. would i get away with gas research system on a BA? modified to suit of course...
im just thinking cause the e-gas still came out with a carby vapour style system, gas research falls under the same catergory only more of a carby, but it doesn't have an ECU controlling a stepper motor like the standard e-gas setup.

anyway, would be good to hear your thoughts

I got priced on a tuff 355 build and it was going to be only $200 cheaper than gas injection.

I was just going to go the extra or lash out and go Liquid.

just go to an installer and tell them you want it on a BA and they'll tell you if it's legal or not.

Ring smithy's in Bayswater.

They're pretty good and give no shit answers.

Ive been to them a few times with q's re conversions and they take the time to go through things.
