Rolling Up A Guard

I got a vs commodore and i just got it lowered the left rear guard rubs against the left tyre when someone sits in the back left so i went back to the place and they told me i can either put a panhard rod (or wateva its called) or i can roll up my guards as the rod is 220$ i dont wanna pay that so i want to know how i can roll up my guards and wat this means exactly.

Like i know i need a piece of wood or osmething and use a hammer and bang it up abit but i dont know exactly where i need to bang it with the hammer.

By the way its not on new springs just got my old ones reset.

If you want to lip your guards yourself.. here's how it's done (it's for a vl but i'm sure it'll be similar for a VS)

I'd suggest going for the panhard rod, if it still rubs, then go for the lipping..

I think you can pick up an adjustable rod off here for like $100.
