Rego

hey guys,

i bought my vl turbo from melbourne back in April long storey short motor blow up and i have finally finished rebuilding it. Forgies the lot but one problem its out of rego and now needs to be put into NSW rego.

I know i need to get a blue slip but: I have the following parts,JD plemium, oil catch oil, battery in boot, front mount intercooler and 19s inch wheels also i have a b&m shifter under the standard console.

will i get knocked back on these parts?

yeah man theyll nail you for plenum, maybe catch can, front mount maybe wheels and if it has an exhaust that doesnt have two mufflers and of reasonable size..
they are pretty tough on blue slips they are the hard one pink slips they let a fair bit slide..

ive never been knocked back for intercooler or exhaust as long as it comes out the rear (not to the diff etc). is the plenum or can polished? if they arent you may get away with it. its shiney the draws attention. rims you can take off as you could probably with the catch can.
