theres a large cruise happening syd-wollongong on the 16th of march

ill be attending, a few years ago tom (ply-boi) came along too so dont say the gong is too far away for u canberrians lol

these are really good cruises (well was last time and this one looks like its gonna be a big one!)

i just got my car back from gastune, they are in tuggers, know there stuff, did a good gob on mine

2 friends of mine take there cars to ESP aswell n said they are good! (not vls tho)

anyone from canberra going on the sydney to wollongong CT cruise? im keen, could do a mini cruise up to sydney meet up with everyone, then cruise to the gong then come home? would be a massive day, but would be awesome?

The waiting list is like a month just to get on his dyno! My VL should be finally finished soon just wondering what best places are there? And why is it that in Canberra i never see any hotted up VL's lol thats all i look for!

He has done some pretty Hi-po VL's. I cant think of the guys name but a yellow VL, 25 head was some silly power figure like 475rwkw and they where looking for a bigger turbo for it.

A mate of mine goes in next week to get his microtech tuned. its a RB25 6boost topmount big garrett etc etc.

He has had plenty of LS1's turn up from other reputable tuners and re tuned. Plenty of Gen-TT kits he has fixed. has his own LS1 turbo kits. Has turbocharged bikes.

Everyone has there preference when it comes to there engine builder/tuner. Everyone has good and bad points and have had an engine grenade at some point.

I think its fair to ask that you dont slander a workshop unless it was you who it happened to. You dont know the whole story therefore casting aspertions like that isnt fair.

Yeah all depends on how busy he is. 2 weeks is about right even for a power run sometimes.

Soon as I get the VL back on the road I would be keen for a short cruise or i guess i could bring the other commonwhore. Whats the go with Mt Ainslie? do the cops bother you much say if we met up the top for a bit of a photo shoot.

bugger all left to do. The car is dead stock. So really im just replacing bits and peices that dont look new enough for me, or making things work like they should. All i think i need now is possibly some new seatbelts, as they havnt been used in quite a few years they wont retract real well.

I was going to wait till my other commodore came off the road before i register it but it seems a waste to have an nice low K BT1 sitting in a garage not getting driven. LOL.

as a matter of fact i know these people very very well and i had my car tuned there a few years ago with my old set up for a tune then i took it to sydney and they said that there was too much boost in it a lucky that it did not blow up.

not telling people not to go there by all means do what you like

Uh huh to much boost hey... Thats bugger all information for a problem that could be cause by many things including wastegate creep and may have nothing to do with the workshop. What was actually wrong with it, takes more than to much boost to kill a motor? was there to much timing not enough fuel? Did you use different fuel? was the fuel old? all these things can contribute to issues later on down the track. I just reckon if your going to say someone is no good have a reason and all the information. Off hand statements or just because some other workshop said he was **** doesnt really justify baggin a workshop.

Each to there own. I have no problems with him anyway. He has a very broad knowledge of most cars and what makes them go.

so i need to explain my self to you do i????? i know all of the reasons why it could of blown up just cause i did not state them to you does not mean i dont know and all of the information that i know about him comes from his former customers so im pretty sure the information is correct. and just to let you know the other work shop that i went to did not say that he was **** so dont put those accusations into your head
