Mikes "SIK VLT" wagon (New Zealand)
Hey guys this has been a long time coming, finally got my butt into gear to write this thread
![]() I bought it off Trade Me in March '07 as a white, standard factory sl Turbo Wagon. I was originally after a sedan and never really gave wagons any thought but liked the idea of it being a little different. Especially the fact it was a factory turbo wagon!!! After winning the auction I flew down to Invercargill as fast as I could and picked up the new addition to the family, and drove it all the way back home with a grin from ear to ear (15 hr drive but well worth it). Engine = RB30ET Trans = MX7 5 speed Mods so far Interior = gear knob, sports steering wheel, custom dash Engine = podfilter otherwise standard Body = calais door moulds, side skirts and eyelids.paint colour 2004 holden pewter Here she is the day I brung her home ![]() ![]() The dash was the first thing to come out and be replaced with a customised dash from my n/a VL Calais that I was wrecking ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Definately an improvement!! Then out came the huge std steering wheel replaced with a "for now" one off Trade Me (which, thanks to the mrs, is still in the car). Followed by the std VL nosecone and replaced with the calais eyelids, side skirts, lower door moulds and added some super low kingsprings with shocks. I then removed the roof racks and chrome roof strips before sending up to Auckland to my brothers paint shop to add a bit of colour.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We had a bit of a suprise as all VLs do... ![]() ![]() ![]() After paint... ![]() Last edited by SIKVLT; 13-06-08 at 14:21. |

Be very careful with that. Normally I would suggest to run the standard bar on the rear for a street car
New washer bottle makes a big difference to the bay. Only $100 from Rare Spares Last edited by NZ EVLHSV; 17-03-08 at 06:54. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

I love it,the wagon handles alot better with it but that is also with a non LSD turbo diff. It does keep in a straight line you can predict what it's going to do easier
